Benton County is requesting bids for a debris removal of an estimated of 23 acres at Coon Creek and 23.3 acres at Punkin Hollow on waterways resulting from the tornado and severe storms that occurred on May 26th, 2024. To be considered, bids must be received at the Benton County Administration Building, 215 East Central Ave, Room 310, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712 before June 18th, 2026 at 2:00pm CST (local time).
Forms and addendums can be downloaded from the County’s web site at https://bentoncountyar.gov/accounting/open- bids/. All questions regarding the qualification process should be directed to Aliam Vue at Aliam.Vue@bentoncountyar.gov. All questions regarding specifications should be directed to Josh Beam at Josh.Beam@bentoncountyar.gov.
Any bid received without a 5% bid bond attached, will be consider void. 100% performance bond shall be provided at time of contract signing.
Bidders shall be qualified to do business and be licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the project is located. Winning Contractor must comply with all applicable requirements for federally funded construction. If applicable, bidder must be familiar with Federal rules and regulations as required by the Uniform Administrative Requirements for Federal Awards (2 CFR 200).
Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated § 22-9-203, Benton County encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Benton County encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises.
Benton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of Benton County for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidder seek any recourse of any kind against Benton County because of such rejections. The filing of any bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
The cost of this publication was $313.12, paid for by the Benton County Road Department from ARPA funds.
