REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 6201BRLL
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS
The City of Fort Smith is soliciting highly qualified engineer firms to submit a statement of qualifications and related information for the engineering services for an approximate 5.5-mile north-south trail hub, referred to as Bass Reeves Legacy Loop. This greenway will consist of 10’ ADA-accessible, multi-use trails with sidewalks incorporated as necessary. Through this Request for Qualifications, the City seeks to select a qualified engineering firm with extensive experience and the capacity and expertise to develop engineering plans, perform acquisition services in accordance with federal law, provide grant administration, and achieve schedule dates for milestones as specified in the City’s BUILD grant agreement.
Sealed responses to this Request for Qualifications shall be received by the Director of Parks and Recreation of the City of Fort Smith until 2:00 PM, local time, July 2, 2026 at 3301 South M Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903.
All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) which may be requested via email at FSParks@fortsmithar.gov.
