Request for Qualifications (RFQ)-26-06
The City of Bentonville is accepting Annual Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified, experienced, and appropriately licensed professional firms to provide professional services, as defined in Arkansas Code § 19-11-801 and described herein. Submissions will be evaluated for consideration to provide these services on an as-needed basis for 2026 City projects.
The City is seeking Statements of Qualifications from experienced and professionally trained art conservators to provide conservation, preservation, and maintenance services for the City’s public art collection. A comprehensive condition assessment of the collection has recently been completed. The selected firm will build upon this assessment by performing recommended conservation treatments, developing and implementing a routine maintenance program, and providing ongoing professional expertise to ensure the long-term preservation and integrity of the City’s public artworks.
The City reserves the right to cancel this request at any time in accordance with the City’s best interest. The City also reserves the right to reject any submission received and to waive irregularities in accordance with the City’s best interest. Submitters agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the City of Bentonville for any damage or claim brought by any Submitter because of such rejections, nor shall the Submitter seek any recourse of any kind against the City because of such rejections. The filing of any Submissions in response to this Invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Submitter to these conditions.
The City of Bentonville encourages all qualified small, minority and women owned businesses to participate and submit for City projects/purchases.
Interested parties can obtain the required Response Packet by emailing purchasing@bentonville.ar.gov, by calling 479-271-3115, or from the Purchasing and Compliance Department located at the address below. The Response Packet may also be downloaded from the Purchasing and Compliance Page of the City’s website (http://www.bentonville.ar.gov/211/purchasing ) by clicking ‘Review Open RFQs/RFPs’; however, interested parties are encouraged to notify Purchasing and Compliance that they have downloaded the Packet to ensure they are on the distribution list for Addenda and/or Q&A. Interested Parties should note that there may be a 24-48 hour delay from the date of publication for the documents to be available on the City’s website.
The deadline to submit a Statement of Qualifications for RFQ-26-06 is 4:00 PM CST on August 12, 2026. Submissions must be mailed or hand delivered in a sealed envelope to the City of Bentonville Purchasing and Compliance Department, located in the City of Bentonville Administrative Services Building on the 2nd floor, 1000 SW 14th Street Bentonville, AR 72712. All Submissions must be received by Purchasing and Compliance prior to the deadline to submit (submission deadline). Late Submissions or unsigned Submissions will be rejected, without exception. In accordance with Arkansas Procurement Law and Rules, it is the responsibility of vendors to submit responses at the designated location before the deadline date and time.
Questions must be submitted via written communication only to Purchasing@bentonville.ar.gov. The deadline to submit questions related to this Invitation is August 6, 2026, at 4:30 PM CST, after this time the
City will only provide clarifications or responses pertaining to items in the Response Documents that do not result in a change or Addendum (see Response Documents for additional information).
