Notice of Application, State Construction Permit AR0043508C
Under the provisions of Act 163 of the 1993 Arkansas Legislature, this is to give notice the Office of Water Quality of Arkansas Energy & Environment-Division of Environmental Quality received an application for State Construction Permit Number AR0043508C on May 12, 2026, with all additional information received by June 1, 2026, from the following facility:
City of Waldo-Wastewater Treatment Facility

The application has been deemed administratively complete and is undergoing technical review by the Office of Water Quality for compliance with State and Federal regulations. The facility under consideration is located as follows: Columbia Road 58, Waldo, in Columbia County, Arkansas.
Proposed Construction will include addition of a dechlorination feed following the chlorine contact chamber.
Interested persons desiring to request a public hearing on the application may do so in writing. The Division shall have the discretion to decide whether to hold a public hearing, unless otherwise required by law or regulation. If a hearing is scheduled, adequate public notice will be given in this newspaper. All requests shall be submitted in writing and must include the reasons for the necessity of a public hearing. All requests should be received by DEQ within 10 business days of the date of this notice and should be submitted to:
