INVITATION TO BID
Nettleton Public Schools – High School Parking Lots
Tate General Contractors, Inc., acting as Construction Manager on behalf of Nettleton Public Schools (the Owner), invites qualified trade contractors to submit sealed lump-sum bids for the bid packages identified below for the Nettleton High School Parking Lots project in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Sealed bids must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on November 5th, 2026, at the Construction Manager’s office, 115 Woody Lane, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the stated deadline will not be opened or considered.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. on October 27, 2026, at the existing Nettleton High School parking lot, 4207 Race Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72404.

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Electronic plans, specifications, and other Contract Documents may be obtained through Tate General Contractors, Inc. Trade contractors and material suppliers who wish to obtain printed copies of the project manual and drawings may order them, at their own expense, from Jonesboro Blueprint or Southern Reprographics. A digital access link from the Construction Manager is required. Partial sets will not be issued.
BID SECURITY
For bids exceeding $20,000.00, each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, in the form of a bidder’s bond or cashier’s check, payable to Tate General Contractors, Inc.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
All bidders must hold the licenses required to perform the work under applicable Arkansas law. The original invitation cites Arkansas Acts 142 of 1967, 293 of 1969, 397 of 1971, and 546 of 1971; these references should be verified for current applicability before this invitation is issued.
PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS
The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds using AIA Document A312. All bond premiums and related costs must be included in the bid.
BID WITHDRAWAL
Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days following the bid opening without the Owner’s written consent.
COMBINATION BIDS
Combination bids may be submitted for multiple bid packages. To be considered, a combination bid must be accompanied by separate individual bids for each package included in the combination.
