The Fort Smith Planning Commission will consider the following applications:

The Board of Zoning Adjustment will consider the following variances from the literal provisions of the zoning code:

Variance request from the perimeter and parking lot landscaping requirements in a Commercial Light (C-2) zone at 1716 North 6th Street and from the required street access of a Major Collector or higher to a local road and from the perimeter and parking lot landscaping requirements in a proposed Commercial Light (C-2) at 1725 North 7th Street. These applicants will present said applications to the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustment at its study session on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. and at its regular meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the Blue Lion, 101 North 2nd Street. At this time, the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on said applications. All interested people are invited to attend and are entitled to be heard.
