NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF HIGHFILL, ARKANSAS
PLANNING COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that the City of Highfill Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing during its regular meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Highfill City Hall, Council Chambers, 2560 W. Highway 12, Highfill, Arkansas 72734, for the purpose of receiving public comment and considering proposed amendments and revisions to the City’s planning, zoning, and sign regulations.
The matters to be considered include:
1. Planning Regulations – Title 13. Comprehensive amendments, revisions, additions, deletions, renumbering, reorganization, and/or replacement of provisions of Title 13 – Planning of the Highfill Municipal Code, including provisions relating to the Planning Commission, planning studies and plans, comprehensive planning, planning and zoning procedures, and related regulations.
2. Zoning Regulations – Title 14. Comprehensive amendments, revisions, additions, deletions, renumbering, reorganization, and/or replacement of provisions of Title 14 – Zoning of the Highfill Municipal Code, including zoning districts and district regulations, permitted and conditional uses, accessory uses, development standards, administration and enforcement, amendments and rezoning procedures, wireless communication facilities, mobile homes, site development, and other related land-use and development regulations.
3. Sign Ordinance. Consideration of a proposed Sign Ordinance regulating the design, quality, maintenance and placement of signs visible to the public within the City of Highfill, together with related sign regulations and enforcement provisions.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed amendments and ordinance. Following the public hearing, the Planning Commission may recommend the proposed amendments and ordinance to the Highfill City Council as presented or in modified form.
Copies of the proposed amendments and proposed Sign Ordinance may be reviewed at Highfill City Hall during regular business hours.
