Invitation to Bidders:
FARCO, acting as the Construction Manager for the Cave City School District, will be receiving bids on selected bid packages for a New Elementary School. Bids will be received until 1;00p.m. on Thursday November 19th, 2026, and should be delivered to FARCO Construction Office at 1530 Batesville Blvd, Batesville, AR 72501 before 10:00 A.M. on November 19th. Bids may also be delivered before time of bid to the Cave City High School Cafeteria, where they will be opened and read aloud at a public bid opening at 1;00 P.M. on Thursday November 19th, 2026, Bids will be received and placed under review. The project owner and CM reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any formalities.
Project consist of necessary bid packages for a 70,000-sf Elementary Building. Completion date for the project is August 1st, 2028.
The site work and building pad are near completion.
There will be a pre-bid meeting on Tuesday November 10, at 1:00 P.M. at the construction site. It is highly encouraged that all bidders be in attendance.

Bidder must have a current general or specialty license from the Arkansas Contractor’s License Board before the bid proposal is considered. The bid proposal and the work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, or Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond or cashier’s check in the amount of ?ve percent (5%) for all bids exceeding $20,000.00 and made payable to the CM, FARCO Construction.
All bidders must be licensed in the State of Arkansas, as provided by Act 142 of 1967, amended by Act 293 of 1969, and Act 397 of 1971, and Act 546 of 1971, as enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond using AIA Document A312.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the opening of the bids,
